EPILOGUE | Overcoming Shame
Most people carry a voice in their head that keeps score.
It replays failures, assigns labels, and quietly convinces you
that what you've done is who you are. Shame is subtle like that —
it doesn't always yell. It just repeats.
Epilogue is a 3-week series about what happens when that voice gets silenced. Starting at an empty tomb on Easter morning, we walk through how God has always been in the business of interrupting the narratives we've already accepted — pursuing people who are hiding, renaming people who feel disqualified, and rewriting stories that shame said were finished.
If you've ever felt like your past has more say over your future than God does, this series is for you.

FAQ:
Can God forgive me if I keep making the same mistake?
Yes — and this series addresses exactly that. Forgiveness in the Bible isn't a one-time transaction that runs out. Romans 8:1 says there's no condemnation for those in Christ. Not "less condemnation." None.
What's the difference between guilt and shame?
Guilt says "I did something wrong." Shame says "I am something wrong." One points to an action. The other attacks your identity. The Gospel deals with both — but shame is the one most people are still secretly carrying.
How do I stop the negative voice in my head?
You start by asking where it came from. Week 1 of this series opens with one question from Scripture: "Who told you that?" Most of the time, the voice isn't God's — and once you know that, you stop being obligated to believe it.
HeadingIs this series for people who don't go to church?
Absolutely. These are conversations about shame, identity, and the internal voice most people fight daily — whether they grew up in church or have never stepped inside one. No background required.
